Ahmed Bayoumi

CEO

Ahmed Bayoumi, whose three-decade-long professional career includes holding key management leadership positions in Procter & Gamble, PepsiCo, Mars and Americana, was appointed as the CEO of Global Food Industries (GFI) and International Beverage and Filling Industries (IBFI) in February 2020. Bayoumi holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from the American University in Cairo and a Master’s Degree in Economics from the University of Gothenburg in Sweden. Since assuming the role in February 2020, he is mainly responsible for taking GFI and IBFI’s aspirations to new highs and double the company’s business over the next 5 years. Bayoumi also heads a new management team and works closely with them to achieve the company’s objectives.

Haytham El Bendary

Group Sales Director

Haytham joined GFI and IBFI in June 2020 as Group Sales Director. He has held managerial positions for more than 25 years in multinationals like The Coca-Cola Bottling Company, Kraft Foods International, PepsiCo, MenaBev and Masafi. Haytham is an Adjunct Professor in Marketing and holds a Master’s Degree in Research Methodology and Quantitative Methods. His qualifications also include a PhD in Business Analytics from the IE Business School, as well as an Executive MBA degree from the Brown University – School of Professional Studies.

Tina Siegismund

Head of Marketing and Innovations

Tina joined the company as Head of Marketing and Innovations of GFI’s frozen products division in May 2020. She has 18 years of professional experience in the FMCG sector. Tina worked for 17 years in the UAE and 10 years with Brasil Foods (BRF) holding various marketing roles across the region. Her qualifications include an MBA from the University of Oxford, UK, a BA in Marketing from the Accadis University of Applied Sciences, Germany, and a BSc in Marketing from the Florida Atlantic University, USA.

Mahmoud Fouda

Head of Supply Chain

Mahmoud joined GFI and IBFI in July 2020 as Head of Supply Chain and has over 25 years of experience in managing various aspects of supply chain management, including sourcing, planning, logistics and warehousing. He has held key managerial positions in supply chain management for various companies such as Savola Foods, PepsiCo, Unilever, and Procter & Gamble.

Parvin Banu

Head of Quality

Parvin is a biotechnologist who comes with extensive experience in the food manufacturing industry. Since 2002, she has held several managerial positions that ensure product quality. Parvin joined GFI and IBFI in 2017 as Head of Quality and has played a vital role in ensuring the consistent quality of our products.

Hasan Rashed

Head of HR and Administration

Hasan is a quality, financial and HR management systems expert who first joined the Albatha Group in 2004 under the Gulf International brand. As the group expanded its footprint in the food industry, Hasan advanced his role to become the Head of HR & Administration for the GFI and IBFI brands in 2017.
